Webinar: Understanding and Accommodating Autoimmune Disabilities

In recognition of March being National Autoimmune Awareness Month, Disability:IN is pleased to provide this insightful and timely webinar.  Autoimmune conditions may include managing both apparent and non-apparent disabilities.  Our esteemed panel of business leaders whose experience includes living with an autoimmune condition will share their journey. They will discuss understanding these types of conditions, accommodations and accessibility best practices, and the important role managers and coworkers support plays in employees being able to contribute their best at work.

Some quick facts: (1) 50 million Americans have an autoimmune condition. (2) There are 100+ autoimmune conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, celiac conditions, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus and Addison’s to name a few. (3) Autoimmune conditions impact women 75% more often than men.
