The webinar will focus on the intersections between race, neurodiversity, and workforce factors. Frameworks used to define neurodiversity and neurodivergence will be described. Further, racial disparities in workforce outcomes and experiences of neurodiverse employees will be described. Next, strategies for designing an inclusive mental health strategy will be described. These include leveraging employee resource groups (ERGs), collecting disaggregated employee data, and designing tailored learning journeys for employee teams to enhance their knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging (DEIB) issues. The webinar concludes with a discussion about the additive value of applying racial and restorative justice lenses to workplace policies, practices, & procedures.
